be a woman of prayer

learnt in my study bible that daniel is a man of prayer.. in spite of the law, he continued to pray to God.. this sent him to be kept in the den of lions.. and God intervened and shut the mouth of the lions..his persistance in prayer and devotion to the Lord encourage me to be likewise.. sometimes we are so delight in our ways or the world, that we forget about Him, to pray to Him.. i have not been spending much in praying.. was looking through the various comics and came across this comic which make me want to read abt daniel.. ya.. this is my prayer to hav a prayerful lifestyle..

this is my second week of holi.. hav not been doing much.. just relax and hav fun.. ha i should do something soon, like finding a job or volunteering in somewhere.. i realised i need to read more books too.. there are books stacking up on my tables and i havnt read them yet.. and i hav a korean show to watch too.. 'full house'! realised my house hav 2 sets of that show, belonging to my aunt and sis's friend.. din know that and huiying lent me hers! she kept asking me how was it.. can see that she really love that show.. ha.. is not those depressing kind la. is e opposite.. ha.. just finished watching another korean series in SCV.. dunno its english title la.. dun think is e popular kind.. it is so slow n draggy.. din actually catch every episodes.. hmm think watch less than 10 episodes out of 40 episodes and i roughly know what is it abt.. ha..

went for keyboard lesson taught by andrea.. is really gd.. learnt things that i never thought of... is cool to think that the time of worship is a journey with God.. there are times in worship that God wants to tell us something, or lead us to the next destination, etc.. n a keyboardist in worship team can play a very active role.. like the way they play the chord progression or the melodies changes the mood of the atmosphere.. i only know very very basic of keyboard playing, but i learnt real a lot in ths session.. andrea ended with a beautiful verse psalm 27:4 -

One thing i ask of the Lord, that is what i seek:
to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to seek Him in His Temple.

how wonderful to have God's presence always.. to dwell in His house, to gaze upon His beauty and to seek Him.. i want to do likewise always.. when andrea was praying, i pictured myself in a place, looking around and kneel down to pray, enjoying His presence.. how wonderful..
