Perseverance is one thing that i am still learning.. i told God that i will endure each hardship or trouble i face, and when it comes, i question Him like why this will happen. nothing really bad i am going through now la.. is just that God has been teaching me about this during this week and i guess i need it..
Jam 1:2 Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides.
Jam 1:3 You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors.
Jam 1:4 So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.
i went swimming one day and to suntan at the same time.. heh.. the weather was really well.. just that i heard thunder also.. but ya who cares about the thunder, good sun is all i want.. but after swimming and suntaning for like 10 min, dark clouds started to cover the sun.. n ya i complained.. ruined my fun.. but i know God is reminding me something.. there may be dark clouds now, but it wont be forever. is just that there sure be troubles in your life, but they wont be forever.. anyway it didnt rain, after quite a while when i back at home, the sun came back again and the weather was cooler than before.
so ya like what James said, do not try to get out of anything prematurely, be faithful and endure on.. God is moulding us.. the final thing will be a sweet one. n we will think that it is all worth it.. of course this is easier said than done, we need God to help us in it..
just watched a taiwan show... quite funny.. is about this person talking about his schooldays.. there was one day his class was having examination. one group of his classmates was known to be notorious.. they fought or cheated in class.. every test or exam no fail they will try to cheat.. the teachers of course knew about it.. ya n that day was exam.. the group had been waiting for chances to cheat but couldnt cos the teacher kept eyeing on them.. 5 min before the end of the exam, the teacher stood up and spoke to them, 'opportunities are given to those who wait patiently and endure.. i go to the toilet now.' he left and the students copied all their ans. they all got 100 marks! the teacher obviously gave them a chance to cheat because he thinks that opportunities are given to all who wait and endure. hmm quite a lousy story about endurance.. haha.. ya i agree that that statement is true la, to a large extent. so hmm.. endurance is not bad ya.. the process is hard to go through but the ending is sweet(eh not refering to the above example hor.. heh..). and when i look back, the process is the one that i will remember more than the end. bcos it is the one that change me.. ending is the start of another beginning.. haha...
